Haroun Al-Shaater is a TV & commercial director.

Pairing visual mastery with a deep understanding of narrative and performance, Haroun is able to bring out the truth and beauty in every frame. His unique directorial style grew out of a refined aesthetic eye developed first as a cinematographer, and his time directing commercials and music videos in Berlin followed by extensive experience as a TV drama director in London. From complex emotions to playful moments his work always connects on a human level. His cinematic and versatile portfolio includes brands such as Siemens, Facebook, Nike, Sumup & Mastercard.

As one half of award-winning directing duo Yaz&Haz,
he is experienced and passionate about directing narrative,
commercial, fashion and lifestyle work.
